To the Sanrio Community:
As we follow the latest communications surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to share the specific measures that Sanrio is implementing across our stores, cafes and experiences.
We’ve always prioritized our employees, guests and fans across our retail stores, the brand experiences we create and the products we distribute. However, due to the new challenges of COVID-19, we are taking even further action to maintain and support everyone engaging with our brand.
Until further notice, we have initiated the following:
• Hello Kitty Grand Cafe: The Hello Kitty Grand Cafe at Irvine Spectrum is now open for front of house service. The Bow Room is temporarily closed, however both Afternoon Tea Service and Cocktail Service have moved outdoors and is currently taking reservations. To create a comfortable and safe environment for our guests, we are implementing the following:
o We have increased the sanitation procedures in accordance to Orange County guidelines that will be posted on the window of our store front
o Staff will be wearing masks in the store
o We are also conducting temperature checks for the employees as they enter their shifts
o Maintaining modified store hours to ensure sufficient time and attention to thorough cleaning and sanitization
o We encourage our guests to:
o Line for register as well as outdoor line queue will be marked on the ground and spaced 6 feet apart
o Guests for Afternoon Tea and Cocktail Service will be seated outside and 6 feet apart from other parties
Hello Kitty Grand Cafe

• Hello Kitty Cafe Truck: The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be resuming its supercute stops in cities all over the United States in July 2020 and implementing the following safety procedures for our guests:
o Staff will be wearing masks and gloves inside of the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck
o Stanchions and social distancing markers will be placed on the ground
o We have increased sanitation procedures:

• Sanrio Stores Now Open: The Sanrio stores listed below are now open for in-store shopping. Phone orders and curbside pick-up will also be available. To create a comfortable and safe environment for our guests, we are implementing the following:
o We have increased the sanitation procedures in accordance to county guidelines that will be posted on the window of our store front
o Staff will be wearing masks in the store and also at curbside for delivery
o We are also conducting temperature checks for the employees as they enter their shifts
o Maintaining modified store hours to ensure sufficient time and attention to thorough cleaning and sanitization
o We encourage our guests to:

o We have increased the sanitation procedures in accordance to CDC guidelines that will be posted on our store front
o Staff is required to wear masks
o We are also conducting temperature checks for the employees as they enter their shifts
o Plexiglass barriers added between customer and staff
o Maintaining modified store hours to ensure sufficient time and attention for thorough cleaning and sanitization
o Outdoor line queue will be marked with stanchions to promote proper social distancing measureso We encourage our guests to:
- Stay home if they are sick with a cough or fever
- Please wear a face mask
- Stay 6 feet apart from other customers and staff
- Clean hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer after contact with frequently touched surfaces
