Job Description

Responsible for developing and managing our content and ecommerce website to grow web presence and meet ecommerce business objectives, including but not limited to technical research and analysis, technical development and implementation, system integration, process workflow enhancements through system and/or technical solutions for maximum efficiency, productivity and effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in CS or EE or equivalent education
- 4+ years of web development/programming experience and 2+ years of ecommerce experience in consumer markets preferred
- Development skills across a range of technologies that include PHP, MySQL, HTML/XHTML/DHTML, CSS, AJAX/Javascript, XML/XSLT, RSS etc.
- Advanced user of Adobe CS4 applications and other web applications, including strong Flash/ActionScript experience
- Proven track record of launching interactive web sites/applications and ability to develop applications across multiple complex environments with varying configurations (DEV, STAGE, PROD)
- Experience working with databases, content management systems, item and order management systems, and email marketing platforms preferred
- Experience with managing SEO, SEM, site optimization and web analytic tools preferred
- Expert in creating clean structured code and style sheets, with a passion for the latest and greatest techniques in web standards, best IA/UI/UX practices, and cross-browser techniques
- Must demonstrate strong interactive and functional prototypes to demonstrate concepts
- Strong leadership, teamwork, project management skills, and communication skills, including demonstrated track record in managing multiple projects in short timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Great sense of ownership, responsibility, and attention to detail
